Youth ages 8-14

226 competitors tested their shooting, passing, dribbling and rebounding skills as a member of a two-player team.

The object of the game is to score as many baskets as possible in one minute from a combination of six shooting spots on the game court. Each basket is assigned a point value based on the difficulty of the shot.

The iHoop Skills Challenge

Youth ages 9-14

63 Local youngsters ages 9 to 14 participated in the Inaugural iHoops Skills Challenge on Sunda,y February 21st. This national basketball skills competition provided the boys and girls a free opportunity to showcase their basketball abilities in a time-based, half-court obstacle course.

1st Place Champions from this Local Competition may have the opportunity to advance to one (1) of twenty-nine (29) Regional Competitions occurring in NBA team markets across the country in hopes of advancing to the National Finals in Orlando, Florida.
