Camp King
5*-13 years
Camp King offers awesome eight themed weeks that include weekly swimming and field trips, games, sports, arts and crafts, computers and more. Spend your summer with our highly awesome staff, make new friends and explore the great outdoors. Space is limited and pre-registration is required.

5 on 5 Youth Basketball
3rd -12th grade
Build your own co-ed team for this four week round robin basketball league with a single elimination play-off series. Prizes will be awarded, tee-shirts included in fee. Team rosters must have an adult captain, at least two girls and consist of 7 players in the following categories: 3rd-5th, 6th-8th, 9th-12th. If you do not have a team, we have free agent sign-ups.

Redding's first family basketball league is here! Have some fun with your family when you sign up for some round robin family basketball. 6th Annual Dub's Blacktop Classic 2010
Men 16-Adult
Bring your "A" game for the 6th Annual Dub's Blacktop Classic 2010. Teams will compete in a six week tournament with a single elimination championship for the winning trophy. Rosters must have a minimum of five players. Fees cover referees, scorekeepers, announcers, t-shirts for players and trophies. If you do not have a team, we have a free agent sign up.

Our public library has over 3,000 books available to anyone who signs up for a FREE MLK library card! Our public computer lab has internet access, resume and typing support, as well as assistance with job searches.

Cougar's Den
Cypress School students are invited to join the Cougar's Den Afterschool Program at the MLK Center!
This program is a partnership with the Redding School District and runs Monday-Friday from 2:45-6:00 pm. The Cougar's Den is dedicated to providing academic enrichment, homework assistance, promoting positive peer interactions, recreation, and a safe environment where students can have fun and learn new skills while in a supervised setting. The program is available to all Cypress students in K-5th grade.
