The North State Skate Series
The North State Skate Series is a competition series, currently being held in Northern California, at the Redding, Red Bluff, and Anderson skateboard parks. The series is entering its fourth year and has developed into a very popular event for skateboarders and their families. Skaters from as far north as Oregon and as far south as Modesto have traveled to compete with the North State’s best. This is the only venue for amateur skateboarders to compete in a true skate series in the Northern California area. The contests have consistently drawn over 300 spectators at each event with an average of 60 participants each day. Age groups range from 11 and under, to 30 and over, with age groups in between being broken down appropriately. Each respective contest features a special event such as best trick, ollie contest, park slalom, etc.
