Silversmithing for Beginners

Introduction to Lost Wax Casting

Introduction to Lost Wax Casting. Students will learn to design and create a non-metalic model, and cast that model creating a finished piece of precious metal artwork using Centrifugal Casting techniques. Instructor: Dave Carpenter. Assistant Instructor: Sandra Park.

Beginning Wire Wrapping
(Adults & children 16 years and up)
Introduction to wire wrapping. Students learn to create intricate bead and wire jewelry with a professional finish, using 14k gold-filled wire and Sterling Silver wire. Finished products will be two Wire Wrapped Pendants - one silver, one gold-filled. In class tools provided. Instructor: Sandra Park. Assistant Instructor: Bobbie Gotschall.
